Crouch End Festival is back! And we are the official sponsors!

Crouch End Festival is back and we are excited and proud to be the official sponsors! The founders of this community event; Chris Arnold, Chris Currer and Amanda Carrara have worked hard to make sure a mini version of the event goes ahead in what has been a challenging year. We will be there all weekend enjoying the festivities and serving our DA popcorn at the open air cinema on Saturday in Stationers Park! We have also invited Just Play FC to host a mini football tournament for the kids!

Crouch End Festival is a community-based festival project that celebrates local creativity and culture across the Crouch End, Hornsey and it also attracts talent from a broader area of Haringey.

Friday September 10 2021

St Mary’s Tower + Gardens (open air)\

• Blacktooth – ‘Wish You Were Here’ – humour,
• Spoken word, music – 7 – 9pm (ticketed https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/…/wish-you-were-here… )
• Stand Up Comedy Night – various performers – hosted by Michael Capozzola open air – 9 -11pm (free)

Saturday, September 11 2021

Stationers Park

• Kids events and craft activities – 11am – 1pm including Drastic Plastic eco-art workshop, art tables, Jenny’s Jam sing-along for kids and much more.
• Crouch End Olympics – fun for all ages – 2pm (tbc)
• On our stage: Crouch End Players and The best of Haringey Fringe (times tbc)
• Free Open Air Cinema – 7:30pm- Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again

Weston Park Place (by Gails)

• Craft & Food Market from 11am
• Stage – live music/performances all day

The Clock Tower

• Poets in the Clock Tower Alan Wolfson, Carl Heap (others tbc), – 2pm-5pm
• Pick an Argument – 5pm

• Community picnic with kid’s activities
• Live music – Jimmy’s Jam Blues Picnic – Jimmy C’s Bluesdragons and special guests from 1pm.
• Jazz from 5pm featuring Kate Shortt’s Cellicious.
• Followed by a Hayden Parsey’s Jazz open mic – 7 – 9pm.
