David Astburys Corporate Football Tournament

Last week, our team had the chance to participate in a corporate 5-a-side football tournament, and it was a memorable experience. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, camaraderie, and a bit of friendly competition.

From the beginning of the tournament, it was clear that everyone was there to showcase their skills and sportsmanship while supporting one another. But we came to win, and win we did!

Our hard work and teamwork led to a well-earned victory. Not only did we take home the trophy, but we also secured a £250 donation to a charity of our choice. We chose to support Bliss Charity, an organisation close to our hearts for its work helping premature and sick babies in the UK.

A big thank you goes out to Powerleague Shepherds Bush for hosting the event. The day was a great mix of competition and teamwork, helping us connect with fellow teams and have fun along the way.

Overall, it was a day full of highlights, and we couldn’t be prouder of our win. Here’s to more events like this in the future, where we can play hard, support good causes, and continue to build our team spirit.
