1. Pack strategically

Take the time to take stock of what you really want to take to your new home and have a clear out of unwanted belongings prior to packing, you don’t want to waste time packing things which you don’t want or need in your new home. Clearly label all your boxes and pack the boxes by room, so they ca be placed in the respective rooms during the move and are therefore easier to unpack.

5. Discover your new neighborhood

Whether you are familiar with your neighbourhood or your move is taking you to a new own or city take the time to get to know your new surroundings prior to your move. Take a stroll around your new neighbourhood and discover your local resources, like the supermarket, local drycleaners and your new favourite coffee shop and bakery. If you can also stop by and say hi to your new neighbours, it will help you to feel more comfortable in your new community post move day.
